Fibre laser cutting
Bystar Fiber easily cuts through thicknesses of 25 mm mild steel; 30 mm stainless steel; 30 mm aluminium; 15 mm copper and 12 mm brass. To maintain our competitive edge we have introduced the next level of power in Fibre laser cutting: the innovative, high performance ByStar Fiber laser cutter with 12kW Fibre source. With high cutting dynamics, thin to thick cutting capabilities, seamless automation solutions and intelligent sensor technology, which is fully integrated with our very latest software systems. Our cutting beds range from 3,000 x 1,500mm to 6,200 x 2,500mm, very few businesses in the UK can laser cut to these dimensions.
Full automation at FC Laser
In 2022 we added a fully automated material storage tower, capable of feeding and unloading two of our 12Kw machines. The completely unique tower has been designed to run continuously allowing for 24/7 production with minimal manual handling required. The storage tower is made up of seven bays, each holding 12 cassettes. The tower provides 84 units of material and parts storage. This installation has been a game changer for FC Laser providing significant efficiency and improved lead times for our customers’.
Fibre laser cutting
The BeamShaper allows for an ideal adjustment of the laser beam profile for cutting thick steel plate with diverse material characteristics. Cutting steel materials up to 1.125 inch, the new function raises the quality of the cut surface and increases the cutting speed by up to 20 percent when cutting with oxygen.
